As the back-to-school season ramps up, we are reminded of the excitement and opportunities that a new school year brings for children.
However, for many children in our community, the opportunity to participate in extracurricular activities remains out of reach due to financial constraints.
The single moms we serve are doing everything they can to make ends meet. They budget meticulously, but simply can’t make their dollar stretch far enough to cover the increasingly high costs of rent, groceries, and other unavoidable expenses.
We believe every child, despite their family’s financial situation, deserves the chance to discover and develop their talents, whether it's through sports, music, arts, or other enriching activities.
That’s why our goal is to raise $20,000 for Mom2Mom’s Happy Healthy Children program this fall. With your help, we’ll provide year-round financial support for extracurricular activities to over 120 children.
And, thanks to a generous supporter, all gifts made before September 25 will be matched up to $10,000, DOUBLING your impact!
Meet Amy and Quinton*:
As a single mom, Amy knew her son’s potential but struggled to afford sports.
Thanks to Mom2Mom’s support, Quinton joined a local taekwondo program last fall. Once Quinton stepped into that dojo, his enthusiasm was undeniable.
“Watching Quinton excel in taekwondo has been a source of immense pride and joy for me. He has gained confidence, strength, and a sense of accomplishment.”
